Founded in 2017, Facilio is a global leader in facilities management technology, offering an AI-driven platform that unifies operations, maintenance, and sustainability management. Its CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) solutions enable real estate owners and operators to drive efficiency, optimise performance, and make data-led decisions.  

As part of its US expansion strategy, Facilio needed to appoint a Sales Director to strengthen its early-stage team and accelerate market entry. 

Challenge: Scaling the US commercial team post-funding

This was a pivotal hire. As only the third employee in North America, the individual would be responsible for: 

  • Driving new business and revenue growth in a highly competitive market 
  • Establishing credibility within a niche, technically complex CMMS sector 
  • Supporting the foundation for a broader go-to-market function

Given the complexity of the sector and the early-stage nature of their American operations, they needed a candidate with deep domain expertise, a strong track record in relevant verticals, and the ability to operate effectively in a scale-up environment.
